About Dr. Litten

Dr. Litten is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and School Psychologist. Dr. Litten completed her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and went on to complete her masters and doctoral level training in Applied Behavior Analysis and School Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. During her internship, Dr. Litten worked in the Pediatric Developmental Disorders clinic conducting behavioral assessments and providing behavioral services to families with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. She also worked in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Clinic conducting assessments for children and adolescents with feeding difficulties and providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral feeding therapy as part of an interdisciplinary team. Dr. Litten’s approach to assessment and treatment is bound within behavioral principles and she uses a strengths-based approach to treatment. She has vast experience conducting assessment and providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of concerns such as tantrums, noncompliance, sleep difficulties, habits/tic, social skill deficits, toileting difficulties, mild self-injury, feeding difficulties, disruptive behaviors, aggression, elopement, and anxiety.
